I recommend all clients undergo a full medical assessment irrespective of the substance you are decreasing or ending. It is critical to be assessed when it comes to alcohol and benzodiazepine category of medications. Ending or decreasing these substances can suddenly be life-threatening. Here are some of the medical detox sources my clients have used with great success. Though they are in Arizona and not California.” I list them as they are a wonderful inpatient medical detox close to California. There is rapid 90-minute flight from many airports in California.
